   Woodblock artist. Former samurai warrior, pupil of the famous Harunobu, considered his principle follower. Produced many erotic albums (such as Haikai Meoto Manyeyemon or "Poems of the male and female Maneyemon"), "hashira-e" (pillar prints), and albums of flowers and birds.
